Love this girl!

Khloe tends to have a rather large tummy, especially after meals.  The last few days Joe has commented on this, "look at that tummy!"  and then he'll pat it and make a big deal of it.  Apparently Kenzie wanted to make sure she wasn't left out.  Khloe was still in her high chair, I look over at Kenzie and this is what I see...

"Daddy, look at my tummy too"

woohoo for freebies!!!

Yesterday we had a little case of cabin fever.  We had the flu last weekend, runny noses early this week, Khloe sounds like a barking seal at night :(  Kenzie only wanted to take a short nap and Kayla is well, Kayla, little miss happy go-lucky.
Just working on my wink, I saw daddy doing it at dinner last night
Anyways, I loaded the big 2 in the stroller, wrapped Kayla in the moby wrap, put a leash on Maddie and decided we were going to head around the block.  Oh yeah, I grabbed 2 snack cups with fruit snacks, a doggie bag, my phone, 2 pipes, 3 hats, re-zipped 2 coats and then opened the door.  No joke, but I hope I got a smile out of you.  It is Friday after all.  We made it about a quarter of the way around the block (not quite a half mile) and someone had a train table for FREE in their yard!  I couldn't write sold on the sign because some how I forgot to grab a pen on my way out ;)  I could have run home, but them I'd have to unload car seats, find someone to sit with my girls, find my keys and get back before it was gone.  So I called Joe's gma (they're our neighbors) and asked her if she could drive over and I'd load up my goods.  She did, I finished the block with the girls, unloaded the table, cleaned it up and voila!  Our 'not-going-to-use-it-for-trains' table!
Mom, this is awesome!
Khloe, listen...
We can eat up here and the dog won't get our toast!
You want a smile like this mom?
Just kidding, after eating our toast on it, we played Little People and then set up our Go-Go trains...

3 months and almost 20 months old

Seriously, where has the last 3 months gone!  It has flown by, but it's also hard to remember what it was like with just 2 :)  Kayla was 3 months old yesterday!  She is growing like a weed, I'm sure it has something to do with the amount this girl can put down.

She weighs about 16lbs now and is full of smiles.  She is also our most verbal child; coos and ahhs at herself in the mirror while I sing, "You're so vain, you probably think it's all about you..."  After Joe gets home at night she'll sit on his lap and 'talk' with him for a good 5 mins.  She has great head control and doesn't mind sitting up for a few minutes at a time.

Thanks for the cute outfit Aunt Barb!
Lunch time!  Notice my nice table cloth on the floor...
Khloe and Kenzie thought it was hilarious when they pulled it off the table with a box of nicely folded clothes
Khloe and Kenzie will be 20 months next week!  Talk about a blast!
Look mom, I'm taller than Khloe!
We played at nana's yesterday and learned to climb up the tree house ladder.  Khloe is a little more cautious than Kenzie when trying new things.  Kenzie may take after me a little and usually tries things before thoroughly thinking them through.  She needed no help going up the ladder and if she had her way, she'd run around Khloe and sneak up first so she didn't have to wait.

Haha nana...made it up while you weren't watching

Not to be out done by Chino
She is so tender-hearted!  Loves her baby
They both babble like crazy!  Kenzie says momma, buh-bye, and basketball (no joke) everything else is bay.  Khloe says please, momma, baby, and bubba.  They've gone with church with me a couple times and have almost made it through the service.
Last weekend we had our first bought with the flu, thankfully it only lasted about 6 hrs - I ran out of jammies, sheets and towels...see:

Lastly, little sneak peek.  The girls will be baptized March 29 at Redeemer OPC in Ada.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from us!

girls...girls...girls...

Happy Friday!  Just a couple pictures of our ever growing girls.  The twins are really starting to grow, babble, and play together.  One of their favorite things is to listen to music and watch nursery rhymes.  Kenzie has mastered signing which song she would like to hear.
I'll sign...you guess.  Ready, go!
Choices are: If you're happy and you know it
The Itsy Bitsy Spider
Old Macdonald had a farm
No, I don't leave them alone on the stools, this was for the picture only.
Khloe takes after mommy and is pretty happy-go-lucky.  She loves to laugh!

So much love between these 2...well, 98% of the time.  The other 2%
goes to when they find a toy we only have 1 of.
Our new found goodwill treasure...and when I get a free minute I'll get the name changed
I gave the girls juice boxes the other day and we always drink them at the table because you can remember how fun they were to squeeze and make a fountain from.  Anyways, I got Khloe situated and went to grab Kenzie and this is what I found:
"Hey Maddie, do you mind if I join you out here?  It's kind of a mad house in there."
Khloe was throwing a fit because mom made her put the towels back in the candy drawer.  You know, things would be a lot easier if mom would just realize that we can reach the candy drawer now.  We know it's in there and we want it.  Sometimes she just doesn't get it.  Does that make sense?"
"Did you bring any food Kenzie or just the juice?"  "Just juice, but I'll throw you more food at supper."

Guess what?  I have my mom all to myself!  And I love it!

Have a great weekend!
