Fort building!

Growing up, we built a lot of forts!  My favorite ones were up in the tree house with Ruth, Monica and cabbage patch dolls.  Thankfully, my fort building paid off.  I needed to plant my tomatoes, the girls wouldn't keep their sun hats on, it was hot out...so we found a solution:

New PJ's...Thanks Grandma!

The girls are now 10 months old, I can't believe it!  They are flying around like crazy and getting them to sit for a picture is nearly impossible.  I was just thankful they were both in the frame :)
"Kenzie, which direction are you going in?  Towards the step.  Sounds good!"

"Ready, set, GO!"

"Khloe, I said GO!"

"Sorry, I found a remote and thought about eating it, but realized I had my pipe."
As you can see, there is never a dull moment!  And dressing them fully is just as difficult as getting them to sit.

Let the fun begin!

Kenzie first made it about 6 ft crawling towards a water bucket....her favorite thing EVER!
Khloe went about 4 ft going after the water bottle that Kenzie was drinking from.  Yes mom, I crawled around and made sure there weren't any small objects on the floor :)

What's new?

Happy Friday!
Hi grandma!
So many exciting things over here I'm not sure where to begin.  Our house projects are finally winding down, yes the ones I blogged about 2+ months ago.  99% of the painting is completed, the bathroom is functioning again and the living room is finished minus the carpeting.  Which we won't be replacing until the girls are done spitting up.  Yay!  My cousin and I went for lunch yesterday and then she headed over to help me arrange my living room furniture, next on our list is the bedroom.  Joe and I are moving out to our sun porch and the girls will take over the master bedroom.  Now for the more fun things in life, like Khloe and Kenzie!!!
Khloe has mastered rolling over, finally!  She refuses to be on her back any longer :)  She can pull herself up:
Look mom!
but I love you mom!
she is starting to walk around while holding on to couches, toys, fingers, basically anything that will support her.  She scoots really well too.  Neither girls have mastered crawling yet, but they are close.
Kenzie can't quite get herself up yet, but loves to stand up and play if you put her there.

dadadadadada...
Kenzie also loves to talk, especially to daddy in the mornings and when he's trying to watch the news at night.  I'm not sure who likes it more though, him or her.  She loves to pull hair, Khloe's and Maddie's are pretty close firsts.  She also LOVES to eat 'real' food.

Pantry bread, from Steenstra's Bakery is a favorite!

and of course, sippy cups!

Look at my new trick everybody!

Naps just became more interesting...my daddy taught me I could stand at my crib rail.  Shortly after he said, what am I doing?  This will only lead to disaster...which is already has ;)

Tulip Time!

It's been a while since I last posted, and if this tells you anything I started this yesterday afternoon and now it's the following morning and I'm just getting back to it.  Last week we went to Tulip Time with a few of our cousins.  Thankfully the rain held off for the parade.
