Learning new tricks
Khloe's latest and greatest is spitting, which is really cute as long as I'm not feeding her. We are also getting them used to ball shaped objects at a very early age.
I seriously have the best job ever!
I am so thankful that I'm able to stay home with my girls! I always knew that I wanted too, but I never could have imagined how much I'd love it!!! So this is our digital baby book, a place to remember our first...time out, gotta put a pipe back in.
Ok, so we've been trying different baby foods lately. There really isn't any that they haven't liked so far, but this was my favorite one to feed them. Peaches!

Our shirts are finally finished!
Ever since we found out we were having twins, Joe asked me to find 'Buy one, get one free' onesies for the girls. I had the buy one get one tags made (which took like 9 weeks, but that's besides the point), thankfully I didn't have them sewn directly on the shirts, they never would have fit now. We wore them today to take pictures for Joe and we went to visit Dr. Dodds, our IVF doctor.

Our new chairs!
The girls love to be around me :) What can I say, I'm a lot of fun! But when I'm trying to get dinner ready, 4:30 seems to be a needy time. I used to put the girls in their bouncy seats and then take up half my counter space just so they could be near me. Other times I'd drag the jump-a-roo and exersaucer into the kitchen, just to have to dance around them. So, we bought these: (thank you great grandma VanderJagt...we used money from a 'birthday' gift)
I'm so excited!!! They love them! And best of all, they can pack up into their own connected pocket.

we LOVE to eat!
When my girls hit 4 months, the first thing I asked their Dr. was...when can they start eating solid foods? He told me Khloe could start with some rice cereal and I could try Kenzie in a couple of weeks. Khloe didn't enjoy it too much the first week. I added a little sugar and made sure it stayed warm and down it went. Everytime I fed Khloe, I'd try giving a little to Kenzie. Not going to have it...any of it. So when it was time for Khloe to start veggies and she cringed and spit it back at me :) I thought, why not. Kenzie LOVED them!! She'd eat green beans, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes. Now, she also can put down her own bowl of cereal in the mornings.
But, hands down, the favorite so far is squash!
As you can see, personalities are shown on the bibs :) Khloe takes a bite, then eats her hand, her bib, her toes, anything she can get in her mouth before the next spoonful. Kenzie on the other hand is the cleanest eater ever!
